Dr. Lin received her undergraduate degree from Stanford University and her medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. She completed her training in General Pediatrics and Adult & Pediatric Allergy and Immunology at UCLA. She is board-certified in both Adult & Pediatric Allergy and Immunology and General Pediatrics.
She is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology; the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology; and as a Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). She is actively involved in the AAP's Allergy and Immunology Section and the only North Texas allergist to take part in selecting important research findings for Pediatrics' Best Articles Relevant to Pediatric Allergy and Immunology, a leading journal for pediatricians. (Recent articles include obesity and asthma, HEPA filtration and asthma, and immunotherapy) Dr. Lin believes that staying active in the scientific world of allergy, asthma, and immunology helps her to become a better, informed physician for her patients. She has presented her research findings at national meetings. She has also published articles in numerous scientific journals including the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, Allergy and Asthma Proceedings, Contemporary Pediatrics, and Pediatric Dermatology. Dr. Lin has been actively involved with the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network. She is also an editor for the immunology section at Madisons Foundation, a site that helps educate and connect parents of children with rare diseases.
